Amazing Walk in the Sun

This is a blog post about an amazing walk in the sun, led by Max our avid walker it took you through some of the Idyllic country side of the surrey hills. Some of the route was not for the faint of heart going up country lanes and across some slightly, if not very muddy fields. The walk lasted approximately 90 minutes before a lovely stop in the Grumpy Duckling pub.

Along the walk there was lost to be seen farms and horses peppered the fields also enjoying some of the sunlight, offset by the occasionally required cool breeze. The walk went along a section of the bridal way, and we have to say all members navigated the presents left behind by some of the horses.

The grumpy duckling pub, an old stone and brick building had a warming fire that crackled away in the corner while we ordered our refreshments. Managing to stay largely of the stronger spirits the team were rearing to get back out there and tackle the second half of the walk.

The second part of the walk took a slightly different route alongside the river and one of Britain’s most beautiful disused railways.
